Dear Friend of Ukraine.
“Research and Development center of the Carpathian region
“Karpathy-USA” is pleased to respectfully take this opportunity to
offer you cooperation with us in a form of financial assistance to our
projects involving research of tourism development in the Carpathian
region of Ukraine and promoting this new market to the U.S. and Western
tourists.
Our center operates in the Carpathian territorial region of Ukraine
including Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Transcarpathian and Chernivtsi
administrative units. Carpathian region is located in the Western part
of Ukraine and borders with Poland, Hungary, and Czech Republic. The
Center is located in the city of Ivano-Frankivsk, western Ukraine.
Since 2001, the Center’s mission is to conduct scientific research and
analysis of new tendencies development in tourism industry of Ukraine
and further implement them in the Carpathian region. To achieve that,
we have been introducing proposals on development of the normative base
of the tourism industry, working with local and state universities,
research groups and other non-governmental, non-for-profit, and
international tourist organizations. Our activities include: (1)
providing scientific research on various aspects of tourism development
in Carpathians; (2) organizing seminars, conferences, round-table
discussions with interested parties; (3) monitoring the quality and
safety standards of tourism industry in the region; (4) developing
expert services for Western tourists; (5) distributing relevant and
useful information about tourism in the Carpathian region. Our ten
people staff works hard to provide high-quality research information
about the future trends and development opportunities for the
Carpathian region that would meet the demands of Western and U.S.
tourists.
Carpathian Mountains are frequently referred as the “Ukrainian Alps”
for its beauty and perfect conditions for both winter and summer
recreational activities. Unfortunately, issues of tourism development
in Carpathian regions are not being properly addressed by the Ukrainian
government at this point.
That is why our organization desperately needs your financial
assistance to keep our projects operational! With your help we could:
(1) launch regional offices throughout the region; (2) publish more
educational materials about the Carpathians in our genuine effort to
promote tourism among the Westerners for whom our region remains mostly
unexplored; (3) shoot a documentary film about our region’s main
tourist attractions, etc.
